MS SQL 2008 UPGRADE

We are pleased to announce that we will shortly be upgrading all Microsoft SQL Server databases to the latest version, MS SQL 2008. The upgrade programme will start on Monday 26 January 2009 and should be complete by 6 March 2009.

Nimbus customers will benefit from the new and improved features of Microsoft SQL Server 2008, including data compression, full text index search and improved XML support.

Nimbus databases will need to be taken offline for a maximum of 30 minutes while our engineers carry out the upgrade. This will take place overnight (UK time).
